placing an advertisment on expat.com

G' day,

Looking to advertise to sell a motorbike on https://www.expat.com. I found this link: https://www.expat.com/en/classifieds/

is it the correct one?

Also, how long will my ad be active for? Is it a set period (after which I have to renew it?) or is it active until I let you know to take it down. (e.g. when the bike is sold).

The reason I ask is I've seen some ads going back 12 months  (presumably they are not still selling their motorbike?) **

I'm slighttly concerned that after placing the ad, and the bike being sold, and informing you of this, I will keep getting phone calls and sms's asking about it (Can be quite annoying).

By the way, is there a FAQ on placing ads? The FAQ knows.

** - some ads say "posted twelve months ago".

whereas others say "posted last year".  I'm guessing the twelve months ago one is older than the last year one?

You can delete the ad after selling the bike.

Hi

You can post a free ad in the Vietnam classifieds section or add your existing business/service in the business directory for free.

If you want to display a banner ad on this website, please contact the admins HERE.

Thank you.

Seems not many sellers do this.... May be they think that expat.com will magically become aware that their bike is sold.

I created a classified ad a few days ago* and during the process it never warned me to delete the ad after the bike is sold. (may be a warning is not necessary because it's common sense! sadly most sellers seems to be short of this)

Also, how about having a Frequently-asked-questions (FAQ) webpage or support page describing the process.
