what date does songkran start and finish in pattay 2018

Up north where I am, Songkran can run from the 12th and extend through two weekends which would make it last until the 22nd. Technically speaking 13 to 15 are the dates, with Pattaya celebrating later on the 19th I believe.

I would expect Songkran to extend from April 12th to Saturday the 21st in Patters? The Bangkok Thais always make it down the last Saturday and it's a wild ...and dangerous ...event. But fun to watch if you are a photographer even though I have never thrown a drop of water through ten of them.

And the holiday folks have been known to start a few days early sometimes?
