Travelling with a Domestic Employee Residence Permit

Post new topic

Morning All,

Quick question, I have been issued with a Bahraini residence permit sticker a while ago, I do work as a housemaid. Due to force majeure I do need to go back to my country for a couple of weeks or so. My sponsor agrees.

I would like to know if it is ok to travel abroad and be back to Bahrain soon under the same visa/residence permit.

Many thanks.

W.

If you have a residence permit sticker which will be valid for your return; there is absolutely no issue.

However, if you are from the Philippines; there are requirements to be fulfilled before you can return (not by Bahrain but by Philippines itself).

Correct, that's the case. Still valid for one more year. Even if my occupation is Domestic Worker there are no restrictions?
