Certificate of good conduct

Hi everyone. I believe there is a new law effective as of February 2018 regarding the certificate of good conduct. I know it is not the same as a police clearance.

Can anyone shed some light on where I can obtain this certificate in South Africa that will be accepted by the ministry in the UAE.

Any help will be much appreciated.

It is the same. Different countries give it a different name e.g.

Good citizen certificate
Good conduct certificate
Police clearance certificate
National police history check etc

For south africa, two colleagues of mine recently got it. One from inside South Africa; he went to SAPS at his local police station. The other applied at the Embassy after getting his fingerprints taken on the form at a local police station.
