Dreaming of moving from Australia to Ljubljana 2020

Hi there

My husband and I are mid-30’s, have a dog and want to move to Ljubljana approximately January 2020.

We plan to base ourselves there to run our small business’ and hopefully raise a family.

Are there any Australians on here that could assist me in my early stages of planning, things like:
- best flight route
- relocating my dog (he is an assistance dog and I will need to get his qualifications transferred & recognised in Europe)
- some suggestions on best places to live or buy a warehouse for our small business ventures
- any guidence on preparing ourselves for the business investment & residency pathways

And, what is it like for expats there?! What is it like for young families?

Sorry, have got to ask but why would you possibly want to open a business in Slovenia? Sure I get why you would want to live here but have you looked into the regulations and the tax implications fully?
