Accountant average monthly rate

Hello there. I was trying to find a job in Bahrain. And some employers replies and ask for my salary expectation. Can all of you give me an idea how much is the average monthly salary of accountant?

Depends on year of experience, industry and qualifications. Varies dramatically.

That is what I am trying to tell you. The average is skewed heavily by the type of company and the type of experience you have.

To give an example, the multinational I used to work with in consumer goods would offer around 900 to 1,200 BD for a junior position with 3-5 years of MNC experience. This included housing and car allowances plus medical & benefits on top. However, at the other end of the spectrum, I have heard of 400-500 BD or even lower being offered.

And I am referring to qualified accountants i.e. CA, CMA, CPA etc. Without these certifications, the salary offered would be even lower.
