I am new to the forum. I am considering moving to Thailand soon. I need help with some translation. I can figure out some via Google and others. Sometimes they do not make sense. Please let me know what this means. "กูอยากคอขัดหีหมาตายเด้ แต่กะย้านบ่ได้เกิดเป็นคนอิก บ่ตายดอกซั่น"

Thank you very much.

Hello,
I use "thai2english" but as you can see it does not lake much sense:

กู อยาก คอ ขัด หี หมาตาย เด้ · แต่ กะ ย้าน บ่ ได้ เกิด เป็น คน อิก · บ่ ตาย ดอก ซั่น "
" goo yàak kor kàt hĕe măa dtaai dây · dtàe gà yáan bòr dâai gèrt bpen kon ìk · bòr dtaai dòk sân "
"
กู    goo    I
อยาก    yàak    want to
คอ    kor    neck ; throat ; collar
ขัด    kàt    go against ; cross ; be opposed to
หี    hĕe    vagina
หมาตาย    măa dtaai    dead dog
เด้    dây    dây (transliteration)
·
แต่    dtàe    but
กะ    gà    estimate ; calculate
ย้าน    yáan    yáan (transliteration)
บ่    bòr    no ; not
ได้    dâai    can ; be able to
เกิด    gèrt    happen ; occur ; take place
be born ; take birth
เป็น    bpen    to be
คน    kon    person ; people (คน is the classifier for nouns referring to people.)
อิก    ìk    ìk (transliteration)
·
บ่    bòr    no ; not
ตาย    dtaai    to die ; to pass away
ดอก    dòk    (financial) interest
flower
ซั่น    sân    sân (transliteration)

I use this for understanding simple messages I receive online, but to reply I use thai dictionary (Paiboon publications) which is more accurate than online. I certainly don't recommend google translations because for simple english/french is very often nonsensical.
I'm afraid some knowledge of thai will be necessary in order to make translations. In the case of what you ask to translate some notion of the context in which the message applies would be necessary.
Good luck to you with everything Thailand!
Tony

P.S. if you move to Thailand learn Thai you will never regret it. Outside of expats and tourist spots nobody speaks English and the richness of the culture can only be experienced by some capacity to communicate with the locals.

I use the same site as well.

Hi Lee, I am also planning to move to Thailand I have found google translate to be enough to get you out of trouble your question was "I do not know what to do. I'm not sure if this is the case". I have been chatting to a lovely lady for a while now and if I use simple English words the message is received very clear. Grammar is not all that important as most Asian countries speak with broken English'
