I like to know If there are any local Health Insurance company who would cover Expat retirees and what is the general cost estimate, mainly to cover Hospitalization and Surgeries, if one is to move to Malaysia on MM2H program..
I have seen a few companies who would cover until age 70. What happens after that? How would someone get coverage?
thanks in advance...

Once you reach 70 you don't get any cover.
There are a few who claim their cover last until 99, but their premium will rise very fast once you reach 60+ and become even more expensive than international ones. So your best long term bet is to go with an international insurance now so as to save later.

Thank you YUD. I contacted per your recommendation. The cost seems high. $4000/year for a couple age 52. I saw in another blog that the writer spends about 1200 RM per year? Is that true? Best Regards...
