Hello all,

I am a permanent resident from the US (This probably applies to resident from any other country) who will be working in Tanzania for less than two years for now. I have a business in the US running and will probably have income from the US. Will I have to pay taxes in Tanzania on my US income if the total amount of time spent in Tanzania is less than two years?
So far, the total amount of time I spent in Tanzania in my whole life is 4 days.
I think that I will become resident of Tanzania after spending 183 days there but I am unsure whether I will have to pay taxes on my US income if I stay longer than 183 days but less than 2 years.

This document seems to claim that I wouldn't have to pay taxes if I didn't stay there longer than 2 years in my whole life time. I however doesn't know whether it is still valid

I do know that I will have to pay taxes on my worldwide income in the US. I am just not sure whether I will have to do the same in Tanzania as well.

Thank you very much.
