Looking for a contract in Riyadh

I have been approached by a recruiter for a year contract in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Still the interview needs to be conducted and the offer to be made. Recruiter asked me to become familiar with the location.

I am in Bangalore. I have worked in USA earlier. This will be my first trip to Saudi Arabia if I am selected. Request you to provide useful info for me to transition smoothly to live, work in Riyadh. Suggestions welcome.
