looks like there are no interesting people responding Anand, best thing is to focus on enjoying where you r, I've been back 7 times and generally hang with local friends I've met over time another thing is to ( if it's nice ) try staying at 1 place, especially if it's a home stay the family will take you under their wings, feels more settled and a good base to network from.
