Do not expect that anything about banking in spain will be the same as elsewhere. Ask what the charges are for every service you may need and negotiate a rate for each.

Example my bank usually charge for all deposits including amounts received from my U.K. bank. I negotiated a flat rate of 0.30€ per item.
