Good evening. I have a boerboel and an English mastiff. Through some research I noticed that Boerboel are not allowed in Mauritius but English mastiff are? Is this correct as we are considering relocating to MAURITIUS before the end of 2018 from Cape Town. Kind regards Nastassia

Hi Natasha, we too are wanting to move to Mauritius before the end of 2018 and also have a furbaby that is on the 'dangerous breed' list which is tearing me apart considering she is afraid of rain and cowers between the sheets at the slightest hint of rain.  Hoping that we too can find a way of convincing the powers that be to let us move there with my baby girl.

I really do not think our babies are dangerous as long as they are trained well. I've also seen Mauritius pet shops selling Rottweilers...they can also be classified as dangerous? We had 2 rottweilers before. I don't know how I'll cope without my babies. I hope somebody can show us in the right direction how one can apply for exemption.

We WILL find a way.  Stay focused and stay positive.  Xx
