Salary for Software developer Lead position

Hi All,

What would be a reasonable salary to expect in bahrain for role of software developer Lead with 8.5 years of experience in IT industry? Provided that I shall stay with my family and the company would provide for medical insurance, what would be the minimum decent salary that I can expect for better savings. Please note my lifestyle is simple.

There are many many many threads on the forum dealing with cost of living and salaries. I suggest to use the search button and do your research first.

Also for specific roles, refer to sites of recruitment agencies such as Michael Page, Charterhouse, Hays etc as they do annual salary surveys by industry and role. Most of these are UAE focused but many have other GCC countries as well. Even if not, take the UAE salary and discount / reduce it for Bahrain - on average 20% lower. But then again, cost of living is also 20-30% lower than UAE.
