Hi All,

I'm an Indian guy on a work permit in Belgium since the beginning of 2016. My wife joined me in Belgium in 2017 on a dependent visa. She recently found a Engineering masters course she is interested at an university here. Her scores during Bachelors were pretty great and she also has a few years of work experience in the field.
Can she apply to the university on her dependent visa or will we have to apply for a student visa for her separately?
How will the financing work? Will we have to pay the full fees for foreign students or will it be possible to get an exemption since we pay taxes here?
We're going to contact the university eventually but I'm hoping to get some basics cleared up first.

Please share your experience/tips if you've gone through a similar situation.

For the first question - the answer is yes., She can do her masters while being here on a residence permit as your dependent.

For the second question - Will totally depend on the fee structure of each university.
