I'm ruling out motorbike, for personal reasons. To get around I'm only looking at taxi services. Aside from local taxi. I know Grab is available. What about Uber or Lyft?

Uber has been gone since March or April.  Lyft doesn't exist here.

You can use Grab taxi or Grab bike.  For a single rider, Grab Bike is less expensive.

Get a bicycle for local trips and use Grab or one of the newer apps for longer trips.

Bicycle is always a good option around town.  In VT, quite a good number of expats are pedalling everywhere, my husband included.
