Hi,im an expat worker here in malaysia since June 2017. I have already filed my tax refund, now im ust waiting for them to transfer my tax refund to my bank account.
My question is how much will i get refund if my salary is 5000 RM per month, i have also paid 26 percent of my salary within six months.
Thank you...

There shouldn't be any refund as you should have only paid resident income tax if you started working in Malaysia in June 2017

The deduction in 2017 and 2018 was 28% for non-residents. But if you were working for 182 days in 2017 and 2018 then only resident rates should have been deducted.
