Finally made the move

Post new topic

After many years of planning and the last 12 months of preparation I have finally moved to Thailand. I met a sweetheart of a traditional Thai lady on line 13 months ago. We live in a small village in the Nong Bua Daeng district of Chaiyaphum. I always wanted to raise some children on a farm and now I have a chance to do so. I have been here almost and absolutely love it here

Good luck, and I hope everything works out for you.

Good luck... Hope you visited before your recent move so you had an idea of life in small village. The people are very kind & friendly, but, sometimes living in a small village with not many English speaking people can be difficult.   :)
Take care...

Thank you

No I did not. I came here blind and found to be a good way of life. The only English speaker here is my kuu mun. She has been teaching me the Isan dialect. She has a large family of loving and friendly people. I eat what they eat, live the way they live and they love it. I speak some Thai and understand a bit more if spoken slowly. It is a great way of life
