Good evening.
I'm holding an International Driving License. Am I allowed to drive here in Uzbekistan? Can I get an UZB Driving License by presenting my International Driving License?
I'm still on a tourist visa though and my permanent residency is on process.

As you have an UZB husband get him to find out.

You have an international driving permit, it is not an international licence.

Thank you. It's not that I didn't ask my husband. He's too busy to find that out.
And I thought I'd get information here faster.

And, it's mentioned IDL. It is a permit but it's stated on the license that it's IDL. We're both correct.

Unless you speak the language it will be difficult to go through the process.
Sorry to rain on your parade but another difficulty will be your IDL. In other countries it is a permit to drive but is not classed as a drivers licence when it comes to obtaining a licence in that country.
Have you done a Google search ?

I think you should take an exam in Tashkent, so that you can get an Uzbek driving licence. Talk to the local branch of Ministry of Internal Affairs and they will advice you on this issue.
