HI
i worked in Bahrain as a manager for 41 years. In end June 2018. I, got retired. I personally visited immigration and applied for the retirement visa. submitted all the required documents. they told me it will take 1-3 months. it is going to be almost now 3 months. Last week I visited immigration to inquire the visa status. they told me still not ready. check next week In Sha Allah. My resident visa is cancelled and Currently, I, my wife and son are on grace period. My previous company already extended my grace period twice.
I would appreciate if could advise me that approximate how long will take more to get approval on retired visa. and until how long I can get extension of visa.
Thanks.

It usually does take 1-2 months.  But with the delays on the visas for Pakistanis, it could take much much longer.
