Can my resident period as student be counted for the 182 days?

Hi and good day!

I have been studying in Malaysia for more than 3 years period without leaving the country. Now after I graduated, I got an employment contract and expected to join the company by December 2018. Since I have stayed in Malaysia for more than 182 days in 2018 (under my student pass), can I be considered as a tax resident?

No because the 182 days is about qualifying for Tax Residency and as a student you aren't paying any tax or earning an income..
