Transfering Car Ownership

I've recently bought a car and need to transfer ownership of the logbook. I moved to Kenya in August and have just had my alien status through but not yet received my alien card. Can someone enlighten me on the process for transfering ownership. I have the old logbook as well as contract of sale between myself and the previous owner.
