Changing jobs in the middle of the residency process

Has anyone ever changed jobs while still in process for their residency? I am here on an NM1 visa and have applied for residency. All of the documents have been deposited with DGM and I've paid my fees and completed my medical exam.  All of this was completed over 4 months ago. Now I'm just playing the waiting game. I understand I could be waiting a long time to get my final approval.

However, now I m seriously contemplating a new job offer and I'm wondering 1) how that would affect my current work visa status, and 2) my residency application? Hypothetically, what if I had a crazy, toxic, vindictive employer? What damage could they do?

Say nothing, tell nothing, keep you mouth shut until yor paper wok is accepted. When we start the process, it is akin to throwing a rock into a pond.  Wait until the ripples created are finished.  Another stone just cteates consternation which you don't need. I know some peole will say "Oh no" don't do that.  They aleady have the papers they want & need.  Throw me to the wolves....... I bite back.  A low profile is always the best here. Don't throw that rock!!

Your work visa is specific to your work sponsor. You put your visa and residency at risk.
