Want to leave oman to join canada for work

Dear all
This is chander pal from india, working in oman since 6 months, i want to leave oman because I want to join canada. For that I need police clearance certificate and noc, so i want to know how can i get that. The another question is if I leave oman by giving a reason of vacation and then I don't come back or send resignation letter through mail so In this case what could be happen. Can I apply for police clearance certificate from india? And if i resign in proper way then by giving 1 month notice, then how much expensive I will have to bear.

Hi Chander pal,

By leaving Oman, you cannot get any of the needed documents like the Police Clearance Certificate or the Conduct and Character Certificate or the NOC from the ROP.

To apply for these certificates form the ROP, you would have to go through your employer / organisation / sponsor only.

None of these requests are entertained in an expatriate's individual capacity.

Best would be for you to consult with your company on your requirements and leave with their blessings.

I hope you let your future employer know, or they find out about these job abandonment actions. It would surely say something about your loyalty and integrity .. or lack of both.
