Hi all I'm lookig to semi retire to Spain, I'm looking for recommendations of nicest expat area to buy, and warmest in winter.

Asking the question as you have you are likely to get replies along he lines
‘Where I live is the ideal place.’ That might be city, countryside, coast etc. Not much help for you.

May I suggest you do some research and ask questions based on a defined area or areas. You may then get closer to knowing what you need to know

Hi Grahamej,

I picked Alicante as it is among the quickest flights from my local airport Stanstead. I have since been told that Alicante is one of the warmer destinations in winter. Being on the coast the sea also levels out the temperature a bit apparently. Today it was in the 20's but nights are cooler.
