Resign from Company without sending letter from Post Office

Post new topic

Hi Folks,

I would like to confirm do i really have to send a resignation from post office only ?

I've send an email to my company and we've agreed for my last day.

I'm not looking forward to join any other company in Bahrain.

I've not received my last month salary and i was looking to file a complain in Labor Law but when i started searching about the process. Every other person was talking about post office resignation letter.  Can someone please advice will i be eligible to file a complain if I've not send a postal resignation ?

Kindly advise.

Many Thanks,Ajay

You can file a complaint regardless. The post office resignation is needed if company is not accepting resignation and you want to take Mobility without consent - if you have worked for the company for more than 1 year.

Fortunately, i've worked for more than a year.
BTW, do you've any idea how long does it take for Ministry to act once the complaint has been filed ?
Many Thanks,AJay

It varies from case to case. And also whether employer wants to contest or not
