I am heading to Copenhagen in the next year with family. My kids need admission to public school in 6th and 3rd grades. Would you share your experience, as I am concerned that they have no Danish skills, except English at mediocre level from their Indian schools to read/write/speak in science, social, grammar, computers, maths etc.,

Please suggest some of the best municipal/public schools in the city who can teach Danish and English in the curriculum. So that, I can contact for admissions and look for home near to these schools.

All Danish schools teach English from the 1st class as part of the general teaching.

Your childrend will start in a reception class and stay there until they are ready to follow the lessons in a normal class.

They will be enrolled at the local district school.

The municipality of Copenhagen offers mother-tongue lessons for children living in the municipality, but if your live in another municipality, and your municipality of residence will pay for your children, they can attend the teaching too.

There are also international schools in the Copenhagen area, but they are private and you have to pay for the schooling.
