Waiting time for Family visa (Norway)

Hi,

How is your application going? You had your interview now?

How's the interview? I applied last Feb 28,2019 and waiting for the call or e-mail by UDI. The one intertained me  in the vfs said I just need to wait for the result if it's approve or reject.  NOW I'm curious about those post if we undergo interview or not.

Did you also get married when you were under 25? 😛

Nope... Got married 26😊. I just thought after submitting application interview will follow.

Those who got married when they were under 25 will most likely get interviewed if UDI believes its necessary I guess

I'm curious if you have an update on your waiting time.
I'm also South African,  married to a Norwegian and I'm wondering about the waiting time. The UDI website says it is two months at the moment.

Hi..did you got any mail response from the Manila Embassy or UDI...? i also submitted  my family visa in the same date as yours Feb. 28 at VFS global Cebu..And im still waiting the ressult until now..I sending mail to the Embassy and she response that my application was forward to Police in Oslo District for verification of reference  coz were not living together in 6 months as they required...

Hello everyone, I got an update 1week after my Visa application. It's approved already. Thanks God

Guess they are not so strict UDI and even in manila vfs  as long as u submitted complete documents.🙂 I applied family reunification visa.

Congratz prettydarlz....!  Im happy for u...im still waiting until now , i was applied Family reunification visa and its been 2 months and 1 week now but still waiting here and i did not get any mail from UDI ...Did you send mail to UDi for inquire your application visa status before your Visa was granted..?

Hello , I’m from Africa as well , married to a Norwegian man , but recently just applied for a visit visa ( 3month) on July 18 but yesterday my husband got a mail asking him to send some photos of us and stamps on his passport that shows he has seen me before, does this mean if my husband send them this, that I will get my visa ? Have anyone applied for visit visa before with the same experience?

They are asking for these to fully understand the validity of your marriage to your husband.  there are a lot of fraud marriages in an attempt to get into Norway.  There is no guarrantee you will get the visa after your husband send in the materials.  They might even ask you and/or husband for an interview to confirm.

Ok, thanks for your response, my husband have sent the information since Friday , we are still waiting on their reply/feed back ... waiting on their decision

Fast forward to after my husband sent in the requirements to the embassy by mails , on the 14 of August 2019 I received an email from the embassy asking me to change my travel dates as the old date has passed and that I should submit a new flight tickets and travel insurance.

Do anyone one has experience about the Norwegian embassy asking you to change the travel dates( flight tickets dates) ? Does that mean I will get the visa?

Today 22 of August
I got a message from Vfs goes as.... your processed visa ref xxxxx has been couriered to you .

Second question, what does it means when Vfs send sms , your processed visa has been couriered back to you ?
