I have a question. I am currently a nurse practitioner. I will not have to work in Belize, but wanted to know if I got bored or wanted to work, do they have nurse or nurse practitioner jobs in Belize? Are they more available than other jobs? Thanks.

terrific

ALL Jobs in Belize are rarely available for expats. Nurse practitioners are not positions used in Belize. The Health system is VERY basic and the sort of  Jobs you want to find are at the top of the pay scale, I.E very senior position. A senior nurse in Belize is on a great salary probably $15 bze per hour. ($7.50US)
If you don't Need to work please do not look for a job if you get bored the unemployment in Belize is very high.

I am a retired ICU/ER nurse. When I lived in Corozal ( now in Merida) I did a consulting gig  at a  private clinic in Orange Walk. I found that the local MDs are as good as any but hampered by poor  infrastructure, shortages of equipment and supplies at times and gross inefficiency at the Min of Health. Defibrillators were not inspected. Nurses were charting in Spanish against “policy” ( which seems malleable).
But I liked the patients who were grateful and non complaintive.

Actually buying a property is not difficult. Cash is king, bank financing is virtually non existent, seller financing is rare.

However If you have not made at least three trips, in three different seasons of at LEAST 1 - 2 weeks each to areas of your interest, then rent for a few months in the area you think best suits you, you are putting the cart before the horse!!

Most things in Belize are different enough from north america that coming here expecting to jump right in and buy the house best suited to you is foolish.

Your own Sandals in the sand is a must for a successful transition.
Shortcut the due diligent process and risk joining the many others that have a house sitting here that might take years to resell once you discover the differences living here are more than you can handle long term.

We purchased a home in San Ignacio in 2016.  We used Vista Real Estate in Belize City.  They are wonderful to work with, very efficient, trustworthy, and honest.
