Hi, any expat here that filed their taxes online through e-filing and got their tax refund already to their account?
I completed 182 days last year 2018. Filed through e-filing last Wednesday (March 6th).
How long it issually credited to the bank account? Thanks!

Gravitas

Allow a couple of months.

Is it true it takes 3 months? Thanks!
Do I still need to go to LHDN personally if I filed online already?

Gravitas

You just need to wait. Expatriate taxes are more complex to process because of the Resident / Non-Resident status (and potentially linked tax years). If LHDN have any queries about your tax return they will write to you.

Hello.

I am here Nov 2018 and still working here with same company. I just finished my 182 days this July.
Can I refund my tax for 2018 now?
How can I file or refund it?
Should I go to Hasil office and refund by myself?
What are documents needed?
How long will it take to refund 2018 tax?

I waited almost a whole year. Never received any refunds.
Went to LHDN, they said needed some "Borne Letter" + "PCB2" documents from the company.
Waiting for HR to provide those and will see what happens next.
