Duty Free Liquor to India

Post new topic

veeraj.john

Hello,

Any input regarding how many bottles/Liters of Alcohol can be taken from Bahrain duty-free to India?
Also, If anyone has any idea about the price range of the alcohol?

P.S. Ive checked the Bahrain duty free official website. But i've heard someone say, the website is not updated on regular basis. And rules keep changing.

Any inputs about this is much appreciated.

thanks.

2 liters per person in allowed to be taken to India.
About website updates I am not sure.
Price range should be ok as it is dutyfree.

As mentioned by "Man in Whites"

2 liters per person is allowed, since its duty free its definitely cheaper than outside.

sorry for delay in response. Just got back to Bahrain today.

Update:
I took 3 bottles from duty free Bahrain as buy two get one free offer. Dint have any problems in the customs. So i guess its either 2 bottles of 750ml or 1 liter each. Else a combo offer of buy two, get one free..

Thanks a lot @logical Indian and @man in whites for your inputs
