Mother already applied for Id card but it takes 6-8 weeks to get it.
Now can you please advise how can I apply for my only 4 year son together with my visa.
Rental deed is on mother name.
I am absolutely clueless on this .

Any advice on the same will be appreciated.
Thanks

The non-EU person already in Malta need to apply at IdentityMalta with a letter stating that both parents will be in Malta soon due to employment and can not leave the 4-year-old child behind in any one else's custody. A request can then be made that the other parent will be travelling to Malta soon and therefore a visa for the child should be facilitated.

(This is common sense that a child should ideally with parents but bureaucracy yay!)

Go on line and search Identity Malta.

Dear sir/madam

Everyone who have reached until malta is for sure aware about id malta.

You could have refrain your self from commenting if you didn't have specific inputs to add for.,instead of writing just for the sake that you want to write.

You asked for help, and other members are trying to help you. You also have to put some effort in as well. We can point you in the right direction but we can't do all the work for you.

As Mo said, go online and search Identity Malta. I have taken the time to do it for you.

You are unlikely to get much help with an attitude like that!

Remind me never to try to help you again.

Dear senior members,

Pls don't take otherwise to this discussion.

I meant to say that any information regarding malta is available on identity malta website but on a standard format which is not of much help.

I guess this forum is to help each other with own experience and knowledge .

Rather words can be perceived in any way negative or positive.

No offense to anyone but I am sure a person seeking help on this forum must have done his research on Google prior to writing on this forum

Isn't it ?

Thanks simcityat & foxglove for your reply.

Contact them directly, if you are unable to phone them, write them an Email?

Aarav2014

Thanks,

I have emailed them with an acknowledgement received as well.

Will share any update if received.

If email doesn't get you far - ideal wait time is 10 working days - it'd be best for your wife to head to IdentityMalta -> ask the customer service person at the reception to speak to an official of the Citizenship & Expatriate Affairs unit -> explain to them the situation and ask advise.

This is an issue that's increasingly becoming common for TCNs so they'd be familiar with what is the best way forward.
