Polish Citizenship Validation - Passport

Hi,

My Mum isAPolish and my Dad is half (grandad is polish) I was born in London and would like to apply for a polish passport.

Is it correct that I already have citizenship but would need this validated?
I don't speak polish, would that be ok for my mum to write the application and would the interview be in Polish?

Also, does anyone know how much this would cost?

It is correct. You are Polish citizen already. The rule states that one of the parents or both grandparents have to be Polish citizen. I suggest that you contact Polish embassy in UK and ask about the procedures. You will have to provide a translated copy of your birth certificate and some documents that will establish that your mother is in fact Polish citizen (her passport, birth certificate etc.). The fees are available on embassy's website.
