Good day sir

i have a question to ask for you iam new here and i see your comment on the forum thats why i thinking that you can help me about my problem. because i dont know what to do right now i start working for the company last year october and my visa will finish this coming october i work for the company from october to March because of pandemic i dont have work from april until now and they only give me 90 bd but in my contract i have 30 bd monthly allowance for accommodation i ask them if i can find other job because they dont give me a job for almost 5 months and they said ok then when i find a job they tell me if i going to resign i need to pay 250 bd for my visa, gosi and the money they give and they dont allowed me to work until i will not pay the 250 bd.

i hope you can help me about my problem thankyou!

Hai sir i get new job and i send Resignation letter by post . i got mobility intention request paper Can a new employee now apply for a new visa? Can I just start working with a new employee? Why is it so urgent for a new employee that he told me in advance that he should join me within a month.  I also originally sent an offer letter with resignation paper but now i got  another job offer letter. Whether to join the first job or New job.if i join new job it means not mentioned resigning Letter any problem.    Please reply me fast

I got a new job offer letter a month ago. At the same time I sent my resignation paper by post to my old employer. But there is no response. Then I applied for mobility to the LMRA office. Lmra officers said  now can apply new visa via new employer with registration Letter pink card and mobility intection paper. When i can start working with new employer after new visa approved or can join immediately because new employer said u can join in before one month . I have to chance? Immediately joing to new company without any problem by old employer please tell me . New employer telling no problem i will apply new visa  you come to join immediately

Legally, you should join once your visa is approved.

I already answered you on the other question.  While the mobility request is in process, you are STILL on old employer's visa.  That only changes when it is approved.  So if your old employer wants to create trouble for you, they can.   The only way around is to either wait for approval to happen or ask old employer to CANCEL your visa and then the new employer applies.  Legally, you still shouldn't work with the new employer until the visa is approved but at least, the old employer can't create any trouble for you.

Sir i resigned my current job but my Employer not accepting my resignation then i approach lmra and i get my pass port. But now im still working with old employer, im not get new visa  that's take some days. But my old employer i asking me give your passport back if you cannot submit your passport make runway case against me. What i can do now please helme sir . Im still working in old employer company but he ready to make run away  case because he need my passport

Hi! I have a friend who just arrived from the Philippines. In our contract, it was not clearly stated that she is required to stay in the company's accommodation, instead, it was stated that she will have housing allowance. It was also written "Housing:  employee is entitled for Sharing Room within Hospital Accomodation." If she will opt to not follow them, they told her that she will be sent home to the Philippines and has to pay the expenses they had for her to come to Bahrain. Is that legal?

1) She doesn't have to pay any expenses
2) Housing can be accommodation or allowance.  If employer is providing accommodation and employee doesn't choose to opt for it then the employer can argue that they are not entitled to provide any allowance in lieu

it will not be possible, if nothing of that is stated in the contract then they cannot enforce it on you.
housing allowance is given for that purpose. any amount given other than the basic salary is allowance so if the company threatens you with your job then you can go to them through lmra.

I’m a worker in KSA. I have a 2 year contract. I my probation period I request a resignation that was declined by my employer. That is a clause in the contract giving him the sole power to brake the contract while in the probation.
A asked for a 5 days vacation outside of kingdom and they also denied.
I know that with the new law I can apply for re entry visa and exit visa by my self, but both needs the approval of my employer.
I just want to leave Saudi Arabia. I know that I will be banned for 3 to 5 years, but I don’t mind. I just want to be able to return to my country.

They still can prohibit my to get my exit visa?

Your residence visa has a CPR number.   Check with CID in the Isa Town office if they can make an exception.

You got the mobile and you owe them money.  You have the choice of either paying it or try to reach some sort of a settlement agreement with installment payments. No other option.

What illegal money?


You bought a phone from STC and signed a contract for it. Read the contract. It would have been sent to you by email.  The part about early termination.  If the amount there matches what they are asking, nothing is illegal and you should read what you sign in the future.

My previous employer processed a Bahrain work visa for me and forced me to live and work from Saudi in a Business visit visa. I visited Bahrain once a year for visa renewal only. Over the years I have developed some health complications and I have to pay from my pocket for my treatments, since my visit visa insurance is only for emergency treatments.


I asked my employer to cover my medical expenses in Saudi but he refused. I then asked him for medical leave, and he refused that too, so I just booked a ticket and went back to my home country. apart from this there are lot of issues like non-payment of salary, compulsory working on all Friday's without pay, etc, etc.


My Bahrain work visa got expired around 30 days ago, while I was still out of Bahrain. There was no case filed by the company so far.


  1. Can they file a runaway case or any other case against me now or in the future?
  2. If I apply for a PCC certificate, will I get it or not?
  3. I know still there are some employees in the same company in same situation. Which authority should I notify, and will they take any action against this company?

Everything depends on whether a case was filed and travel ban is in place, for this you need ask someone to visit NPRA with your passport copy to find out. If there is no case then you can apply for PPC. You can complain with LMRA and Ministry of Labour (visit thier respective websites to know the process)

Then it's going to have to be a civil case to attach employer assets. Will take a long long time.

Hi,


I have been working with a company in Bahrain for 2 years, recently I have received a better offer from a client and I wanted to move. My visa was supposed to be expired on 15th April, Since my previous company was not ready to give me mobility hence I decided to officially resign from position on the date of Visa expiry. Company accepted my resignation.


Now that I am processing the work permit with my new employer, the PRO asked me to make my old company cancel my expired visa, and they have done it. As of now my status is being shown as "Employment Visa is not valid!".


Should I be worried about this status?

Will I be required to leave the country because of my current status?

What is the next procedure for getting a new work permit?

What would most likely happen if my new employer is unable to get me a new work visa within 30 days?

Read the first page. You have 30 days.  As long as visa is in process, no issue.

@XTang Hi Thank you for your response. My work Visa expired on 10th of April and new company asked my previous employer to cancel my visa on 15th April. As per the expiry date my grace period ends tomorrow, as my new company is facing some violation, they were unable to file the extension till today.


I wanted to know if the 30 days grace period will counted from the date of expiry or cancellation.


Also if I can go to the LMRA and get the extension myself.


As per the employer once the violation is removed they will first get an extension and then process the visa.


Is there any way where I can apply for an extension myself?

I joined one company newly and they gave me there visa  while I worked with them one month and they told me to stop working and they open my mobility immediately to leave . I have stayed for one month now without job but I have there visa do my question is that I hope they will not put runaway case for me ?
