Hi There,

Please clarify the 182 days tax calculations; details are below:

I have reached Malaysia on 23-Dec-2018 & traveled back to my home country for 11 days as of May 2019.
Again, i need to travel back in June 2019 for 12 days for my baby birth.

So, i might be travelling more then 182 days in first 6 months of 2019. My concerns/queries are:

1-Travel on Jun 2019 can be categorized as medical absence as its my wife's delivery & what i need to do for it, like need to get any documents?
2-If the above option is not possible, can 182 days from July to Dec 2019 is considered for tax clearance?
3-If my first 182 days are not considered for tax clearance, still 28% tax will be deducted from Jul -Dec 2019?
4-If my first 182 days are not considered for tax clearance, will i get any refund of tax in 2019?

Thanks in Advance.
