Change of Name for spouse

Good morning.

I recently was married in Kenya and I live in the States.

My spouse needs to change her names and she went to various agencies and they all seemed a bit vague and she was most frustrated.

What is the proper agency or steps one must take to change your name.

What documents are you changing the names on?You will have to change through gettting a deed poll done by an advocate

The normal changes needed I guess:

Passport

National ID

Drivers License

Any ideas would be appreciated.

My (Kenyan) wife used our marriage certificate as evidence of marriage and change of name, in the UK. Not sure whether the same would apply in the US though.

You can google it but we're basically doing the same thing right now. You start with Social Security name change...then Driver's License...then Bank...then Work.
