Just wondering,  I have submitted the E.P application about 45 days ago and yet it is under pending.

Officer incharge informed us that our application is under 3rd party company review. The 3rd party company is engaged by MOM to do research on preferred occupation from Singaporean.

Do you have any idea what is the 3rd company MoM mentioned about?

This could be third party vendor (most likely vetting agency) engaged by MoM is doing the verification process of your certificates and experience letters. It completely depends on how fast they are getting response from the educational institutions and previous companies where you worked before. Good luck

As per advised by MOM officer, apply Spass is easier for approval as vetting agencies will no check on Spass.

Is it true? As my company is considering to withdraw the E.P application and apply Spass for me

@Randylee1990 its not true. I have an ex-colleague renewing her/his s-pass recently and it took more than 2 months.

Interesting... 1 of my ex-employer already close down in Singapore. But wonder if MOM or their so call vetting agency can trace the NOA record as proof.

Vetting agency will update the details to MoM accordingly (that they didn’t receive any reply from the employer or they have closed down their business). It’s a normal practice at MoM to engage the vetting agency to do the verification check.

I got my IPA approval last Nov 18. The HR already called and email my IPA letter that same day.

Hi my s pass still pending from nov 22 till now...How many days it LL take please reply ..and they asked my experience certificate on Dec 6 th

Position: Senior Manager
Function: Very niche in Singapore
Salary: 10k
Experience: 8 years
Date of EP application: 4th Oct
Status 1: Rejected, the reason stated-Incorrect job title and salary range
Employer HR, updated the Job title and Salary range (but kept the salary hidden)
1st Appeal done on: 11th Nov
1st appeal rejection date: 19th Nov, reason stated that the salary is hidden, requested to do job posting again with a visible salary range.
2nd Appeal done on: 9 Dec
EP Approval on: 23rd Dec

1) if DP can be applied after seeking EP approval, or do we have to wait till EP is issued? and then apply for DP.
2) What is the timeline to get a DP approval (1-2 days)
3) Can LOC be applied using DP IPA?

I am working as a System Engineer in a reputable company and this is the 2nd time for my S'Pass renew under the same company. My company applied for renew my pass on 19th November but it's still showing "We need inputs from other agencies to process this application. In most instances, the outcome will be available in 4 weeks' time. Some cases may take longer."

Applied for renew: 19th Nov
Status 1: Pending (from 19th Nov to 16th Dec)
Status 2:  We need inputs from other...... ( from 16th Dec onwards to till now)

I am working in Singapore for 6.5 years (under the current company 5 years)

My current pass was expired on December 2019 and HR called MOM for details causes and extension. MOM extended for another 1 month and they said its waiting for other government agency verification. 

Not sure if anyone have any idea why its taking long time. I am really feel panic. Not sure whats going on...

As we have explained in various threads before, the "We need input from ..." stage is a verification of your credentials with external agencies (e.g. your ex-employers and home country authorities). This is done on a random selection of applications and, obviously, how long it takes is not controlled by MoM.
If your submitted information is correct, you have nothing to worry about - just be patient!

My employer applied for my EP firstly on December 2nd 2019, and it was rejected on December 17 because the HR made amendments on JobsBank halfway so they didn't fulfill the 14 days criteria.

They reapplied on January 3rd 2020 because apparently they had to wait for 2 weeks before they could submit another application.

Now it's January 16th and the status is currently: We need inputs from other agencies to process this application. In most instances, the outcome will be available in 4 weeks' time. Some cases may take longer.

I'm getting pretty anxious because I had been rejected once, although I know it's not my fault.. Any advice?

You should read older threads, these are basics approaches at MoM. You need to wait till MoM gets all the information from various agencies who are engaged for verifications or collecting information. Good luck

There is nothing else you can do.

After awaiting for 2 months plus, my EP finally got approved.

Reject : 21 Nov 2019 (Reason: THE SALARY RANGE IN THE JOB ADVERTISEMENT WAS HIDDEN OR NOT STATED)

1st Appeal : 22 Nov 2019
Reject: 31 Dec 2019 (Reason: The change details in job advertisement had not posted for 14 days) not sure my employer change the details on when..

2nd Appeal : 6 Jan 2020
Approved on: 17 Jan 2020

My new employer is well know asian company with 7000+ employees.. i am here for almost 8 yrs now and this is my third ep application..sal is 10k+..hope everything will be ok..

Each application takes its own time and have to go through yardsticks set up by MoM. You may expect a response post CNY as this period the work process is at slower pace. Good luck

One thing i need to ask you if it would be safe for me to resign now considering i have seen an approval on eponline though the employer is yet to share with me the IPA? Additionally now a days new  ep applications approvals are for 2 yrs?

Yes, once the EP is approved you can resign.

All the best to the one's waiting! Be very positive guys no need to panic especially if you are joining a big firm.They will take care in most of the cases as they very well know the situation even before they hire you.

In between MOM raised a query as my Education document OD (original Degree) Scan copy is not clear so I sent clear image again to my Employer they submitted to MOM

EP status changed to pending on 31st Dec 2019
Ep approved: 21st Jan 2020

The process takes 1 - 2 months in most cases. Just wait!

Yes MoM is taking lot of time. Even my employer is not able to get this expedited from MoM. I was asked to resign before the EP approval. I m jobless and waiting for the EP to get approved

Even myself too. I dropper my resignation and now jobless. My Employer told me that "will get approval mid of next week, waiting for it". Finger crossed. Now coronavirus problem joined with visa process... hopefully everything will get resolved soon.

So Joining Date doesn't a matter isn't it?

Yes joinong date doesn't matter. For me the joining date was 13 jan.

What is the impact of corona outbreak in visa processing times ? Any recent experiences on that.   80 days seems unusual ? Any reasons for such long processing times ?
