Talent Visa - qualifying experience

Can I apply for talent visa if I had worked in KL for 3.5 years earlier and returned to homeland . Back in Kl now on employment pass . can I apply for talent pass right away or should I wait for 3 more years from now to apply .

As in does previous years of residence and work experience in KL qualify ? I had paid regular taxes as well during those 3.5 years. Thanks

Requesting people with info / experience on this to please clarify. Does past work experience in Malaysia count in applying for the talent pass , provided all other qualifying conditions are met with. Have been tax payer for more than 3 years during prior work experience in kl . Now back after gap of 3.5 years . Does precious experience count or do I have to start afresh . Thanks
