Final Exit and Saudi Bank Account

You have 2 options: (1) Do not close your bank account while waiting for your ESB but just make sure that your Iqama will not expire before your company will deposit the money. You can bring your ATM card with you outside KSA; or, (2) leave your ATM card and PIN to a trusted friend with understanding that he/she will send the money to your bank account outside KSA.

Please take note that banks in KSA will automatically freeze/close your account after expiry of Iqama and it will be difficult to follow up with them when you are outside the kingdom. Good luck.

Thank you!  I appreciate the feedback.  May I ask if this is from personal experience?  I’ve seen some posts saying you need the account to be closed, but this would create a Catch22 although I’m not sure that’s surprising at this point.

Loans and owing e.g. STC etc need to be closed.  Main bank account can be kept open provided Iqama is valid.

greetings to all , i have something question about my aquama it is already expired but i have already a final exit visa , my question is can i used my exit visa to the bank and open my account again so that i can get my money deposet to that bank? thanks and God bless to all

Bank account is linked to Iqama expiry.  Has nothing to do with an exit visa.

@XTang so we can bring the atm card and withdraw the money outside the kingdom bank?
