Moving to Portugal

Hi guys myself and my husband and four month old baby are wanting to move to Portugal where a young family but we're not sure on what areas to go to or what are the safest what the cheapest for rent are you best of with real estate agents or finding private landlords is it possible to get a place before you even land there or how easy is it to get work in Portugal what areas speak much English and would a lot more young families be also the cost of living monthly  what we're the first main things people done first when they got there that took a bit of time we have done some research online but we still can't seem to figure out where is best or trying to narrow down some things I'd really appreciate it if you could help thanks guys

Hi there well we were thinking of lagos or faro but we have never been there we are basically trying to do all our research online but we're still not to sure what areas are good for young familys cheapest rent and might have some hope for jobs I know it's quite in the winter months I'd appreciate any advice please
