Transferring from Vietnamese bank to a U.S. bank

What is the easiest--and least expensive--way to transfer money from a Vietnamese bank to a U.S. bank to pay my bills back home while I am working in HCMC? Has anyone had experience with this and can advise me? Are there certain banks that are better to work with in this regard? Thanks so much!

Do you have the payslips to show that you legally earned the money here, that will be your first issue.

I used my normal bank account that I originally transferred the money into VN, you could try something like Transferwise.

You can transfer the funds from a bank account with any bank as long as you can provide them with your labor contract. However, Standard Chartered is the best when it comes to dealing with foreigners.
