Confused

Went to the police station in Agadir and was told that one could spend the maximum three month term as a tourist repeatedly without limits simply by leaving and returning to the country.

This goes against everything I have been reading on the subject where there is apparently six month total stay limit within a year (calendar or fiscal, that's not clear either).

Do different municipalities make up their own rules? Has anybody received a definite answer from a gvt body?

it's 3 months in Morocco

TrappeurSup

Yes 3 months max per visit. But how many 3 month visits can you do in a year? Or is it unlimited? Still confused.

I havent seen documentation to confirm either way, but i have read recently on a forum that they are starting to clamp down on people just leaving the country after 3 months then coming straight back in again.  They'll let you do it a few times but then start to ask questions and then stop you entering again.

If you are working here or have a partner here wouldnt it be safer to consider getting a residency card?  Theres some paperwork to collect, a couple of forms to fill, but no more hassle than the paperchase usually is here!

Thanks, I guess there's no way getting a definite answer on this question, which one of the reasons I prefer to limit my involvement with the bureaucracy here.
