Hi all,

Is it possible to obtain on arrival visa or evisa of Bahrain from Saudi Arabia if i have iqama ( through King Fahad causway) ?
which is easy to obtain? evisa or on arrival?
Can anyone  share his experience please?
Thanx in advance

If you have a Iqama, I understand that you will be issuesd Bahrain visa from the passport office there and there is no requirement for an e-visa beforehand

Hi,
I visited every weekend to Bahrain through causeway.
Its very easy to obtain visa for 3 days on arrival through window.
No worry, keep your passport and iqama with you and feel free to move.\
If you need any further assistance and information PM me.

For iqama holders, easiest is on arrival visa at the causeway.  Get a 3 day or 2 week or a month depending on your needs.

Hello
My husband has applied an e visa for me as I have to make an exit re entry. But the visa has not yet approved. What should be done. Can we get a visa on arrival through causeway. Iam on visit but my husband is an iqama holder. Kindly reply. Thank you.

Don't give advice without knowing the regulations or seeing OP nationality / Iqama status (Indian, visit visa holder and who has already applied for an evisa - it is clear from her question / profile).

Visa on arrival in Bahrain is for:

1) Eligible nationalities e.g. US, UK etc
2) Saudi or GCC Iqama holders

The person above has Indian nationality and does not have an Iqama apparently.  So she will NOT get a visa on arrival and instead has to apply for it in advance.   If you have already applied then there is nothing you can do except wait.

Dear

My wife 2 Years Multiple visit visa stamp on Passport# ***.

After completing 6 months as visa expire on 26-Nov-19, she will go back on 18-Nov-2019 and Re-Enter into Saudi Arabia on 24-Nov-2019.

Due to passport expire on 15-April-2020. I got new passport expiry up to 2024.

Question-1 :- is this at Airport Jawazat will enter her on new passport*** OR Previous Passport# *?
**
Question-2:- On old passport cancellation stamp is required or not necessary.

1) Don't post passport numbers
2) This is an unrelated thread to your question
3) Carry both passports for entry. No cancellation stamp required

Dear dummy passport numbers not actual

aamirnajam

Hi, your wife will be enter on old passport because old passport already feed in jawazat system but at the time of entry you have to show your new passport to saudi immigration .
when she entered saudia then you can enter new passport and then cancelled previous one. its easy procedure not very much complicated.

If immigration put دخول  stamp on old passport (in spite of showing new/renewed passport), then in absher  system new passport number will not be updated. Resultantly  I cannot get 2nd extension because it will expire before 90 days . Ultimately I have to send her back again just after 3month.

Is there is any way to make naqal maloomat  by going to Jawazat to update new passport number in their system? Or they will say for visitors no naqal malomat option available.

XTang

For visit visas, the new passport number is not updated like it is for Iqamas - at least not physically; they may change it in their systems but won't give a new visa sticker i.e. you will still have to carry both passports (to show actual visa at boarding time in home country and the new passport on arrival in Saudi)

They will put stamp on old passport if it is not expired.  If old passport expires, they write in Arabic by hand on new passport and stamp it.   I have experienced this myself.  However, I never needed to extend beyond 90 days so I am not sure how that will go especially if the passport is expired.

aamirnajam

Let me  try to remove all your confusions.
Immigration only put stamp on old passport after see new passport if old passport expired.
Then you will contact personally jawazat for naqal maloomat and officer update your information and will cancel old passport.
In jawazat there is cancelled stamp available they will stamp once update new passport in system.
But at the time of entry u must have to show your new passport because to keep two passport is severe punishable offence, so no need to hide.
Hope your point will be cleared, if you need further assistance then message me private will talk on cell.
Have a nice day.

I think you are creating more confusion by mixing up the process of Iqamas and visit visas.   This person has a visit visa sticker in their passport.  The visa sticker was issued by the Embassy in their home country.

If passport is not expired, they will continue to stamp the old passport.  If passport expires, they will write by hand on the new passport and start stamping it (they may change the number in the system at the back end but may not give a new visa sticker - for that, they will refer you back to the Embassy that issued the visa in the first place).  In any case, you only need the information change in their system so you can apply for stay extension on the new passport.

I traveled like this for 2 years, every week, Dubai to Jeddah i.e. carrying both passports.  Never went to Jawazat for number change (they wrote by hand on new passport once the old one expired, at the airport itself on entry - and thereafter, I only showed them the new passport despite carrying both). I never needed to stay beyond 90 days but I assume that extension would work as the new passport number was supposedly in the system.  Once my 2 year visa expired, I just got a new one on the new passport.

I want to travel Bahrain with Wife, please inform me about requirements for Arrival visa on Bahrain.
EXIT Reentry visa
6 Months Passport
How Much Reaming IQAMA Period?

XTang

Passport should be valid for 6 months.   Iqama validity is not that much of a problem - at least on the causeway.

Dear Xtang ,

Question-1

My wife will enter into Saudi Arabia with 2 passports new and old.
On old passport 2 Years multiple visit visa sticker pasted and its validity will be left 4 months & 22 days only when she will arrived at airport.
On immigration counter she will present new passport with printout paper of Abshar Visa validity, First.
If immigration official ask her to show previous passport, then she will show him but she must tell him to enter in system new passport information i.e passport number and its expiry.

Question-2
While making online air-ticket booking i should book ticket with new passport number or old passport number.

I will be extremely grateful for assistance.

XTang

1) She will enter on old passport as it is still valid.  If it expires while she is in the Kingdom then you would need to go to Jawazat and get it updated manually.  But show both to immigration official
2) Book with old passport as it is still valid
