Long Term job (700BD) vs. Short Term job (900BD)

I am presently working in Construction Firm with 900 BD monthly salary but the project is already 3 years and remaining only 1 year and no clear situation if new project is coming and how many months still until they terminate my contract. Now, there is a new offer to join another company which is not in construction and that it will be at least 5 years or more sure employment but the salary they are giving is only 700 BD. My question is, do I need to continue my present job (I have an option to resign anytime) or do I need to accept the new offer even if it will mean that 200 BD will be less on my monthly income? Please help me decide...

It is entirely based on your priorities. Long term job stability always wins out over short term financial gains. Unless of course you want to go back to your home country after a year.

Thank you XTang for your immediate reply, of course long term job security is my first priority. Anyway I am trying to negotiate more but I guess Construction companies really give more salaries than services company, but the latter give job security more as their field of work needs continuity and no completion time set-up...
