Yes. Off to your local Polda with your passport, KITAS, and whatever else they need these days, pass the medical, pass the test, pay the fee, and off you go.
Sounds simple but I'm out of date as I no longer need to bother with all that stuff, but you'll find out if they want anything new when you get there.

As above, but license from home country must be valid, typically if applied/ processed before 12 you’ll get same day if after it can take 24/48 hours, if you don’t read Bahasa they May offer the multiple choice test in several other languages (most don’t offer this facility)
Extremely basic questions
I’ve been told but can’t confirm starting 2020/2021 if license from home country is not in English it won’t be acceptable or if not an eu issued license
License are now valid for 5 years
Foreigners are currently not allowed to drive trucks/ lorries or more than 7 person vehicle on public roads, unlimited on private property
Bike license is similar to UK/ Europe, 3 types of license so make sure you have/ need correct one (if needed also) up to 250cc, 250-500cc and 500cc and above the last obviously allows to ride all 3 types
I would advise to get insurance though not required you will be a great target to be subjected to being ripped off / scammed at a high risk, also front and rear dash cameras (bike also as I do) if in an accident do NOT tell anyone even police you have these or work, take home and download then give a copy later you’ll never hear from anyone involved again, if handed to police they could be misplaced!!

I got my local driving license earlier this year because I could not longer get an IDP from the UK through the post. The IDP is better for me as I also drive in other countries in Asia. You just need to registered at the police station and then take the test. We saw many people fail the multiple choice computer test, but for me they allowed my wife to sit beside me to assist, not that she drives. We also saw 7 or 8 young guys fail their tests on the motorbike simulator. That in itself was great entertainment because it looks impossible. Apparently, some people take the test 2 or 3 times and then get their license the easy way which probably accounts for why there are so many clueless people driving on the roads.

Do you have information as regards to Truck and lorry driving all the info i have seen states that foreigners cannot access these licenses need to see what info your are quoting from

I gather foreigners are forbidden to drive larger vehicles. That needs checking, but I gather it's true.

The information about larger trucks / wagons/ lorries and carrying more than 7 passengers along with home country license written in English or from an eu country was given to me by local police whom I know from my Sunday rides on the big bikes, so its only verbal and I can’t confirm if true or not or even if any of it is in force or not, I would presume they is absolutely no reason for a foreigner to have such license unless they are working again I can’t confirm
I would think similar to uk regulation if true ie certain weight of truck and or cargo but certainly not similar to HGV etc
