UK Residents - Ten Year Residency Status

At the end of January this year Identity Malta announced :

"Identity Malta will in the coming week be contacting British nationals in Malta who are in possession of a valid residence document in order to initiate the process to grant them a ten-year residency status."

I've not been contacted yet by Identity Malta.  Numerous friends I know also have not heard anything.
I have heard that a letter will be sent which will specify the details of the process.  Also the letters
are being sent out in "Village" order.

Does anyone know when the letters will be arriving ?

Thanks.

Some of the villages in Gozo have had their letters, where we live we have not been informed yet so I suppose it’s a case of waiting to hear.

On the net - Malta govt and British high commissioner Malta site or Facebook you will see that every village is going to be invited to ID offices in Malta between Feb and July .  The list of towns is available on these sites and you will be contacted a couple of weeks beforehand.  You have to take along your present residence card ...

The Br High Commission site is informative .

Thanks GozoMo and muffin 17 for your information.

I have also learnt that Identity Malta have named
the villages  Sannat, Gharb, Xewkija and San Lawrenz
for  processing in March.
However there seems to be no information for the
processing dates of the remaining villages.

Their website said further dates would be announced in due course for the remaining villages.

Right. I'll check out their website again towards the end of March.

I've heard that the whole process should end in August, but I
guess this may change as time goes on.

If you check, each area has a date of when you will be called
