Purple Girl

Good Morning

Looking to move to Morocco soon after I marry my Moroccan fiance in September.

Would like to get to know some other British ladies and hopefully become friends and meet up when I move over.

Thank you for reading and look forward to your replies.

hi purple girl!

first of all, congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding! will you be getting married in morocco?

do you know what city you will be living in? i suggest you join the "american and english speaking women in morocco" group on facebook. it is a group of ladies from all nationalities (mainly american, english, french, etc.) Most are based in casablanca, but there are also members in marrakech, rabat, tanger, etc. We share a lot of tips, ideas, events and frustrations online and the group also meets for breakfast each week in Casablanca. if you will be in Casablanca, there are a couple of other facebook groups. i am in Marrakech myself, and there are monthly events posted here on expat-blog, although i am yet to attend. there is also a quiz night every second monday at cafe du livre, which is a lot of fun.

anyway, hope this helps!

I will definitely go on Facebook and look the other group up.

Many thanks for your help.

Take care
