Can a cancelled Iqama be reactivated?

Hello Everyone!

I have a question about a cancelled Iqama for Spouse and Children in 2018. Can the Spouse's Iqama be reactivated without having to start the application from scratch like the first time? Can spouse apply for only visiting visa and get the Iqama once she arrives in KSA or does she have to apply for the resident visa again even though it's less than two years since she applied for one (2018)?

My husband cancelled our Iqama in 2018 because we thought we wouldn't be needing it any more so that we don't have to keep paying the maintenance fees for Iqamas. If we do need to visit Saudi, we will apply for the family visit visa only.  Spouse needs medical services to be used under the Medical coverage Insurance provided by husband's company.

Please can you advice on how to go about reactivating cancelled Iqama.
Thank you and looking forward to your usual quick responses.

Regards,
Tbash

You cannot reactivate an iqama (resident - permanent family visa) which was cancelled by way of final exit only visa.
