Why there?
Will you marry a local?
Which town?
Are you working/intending to work?

I know little of the island itself outside its dengue problem and its paradise beaches and water sport, but I can help with a general overview if I have more to work with.

Hi Doneria,

It might help if you are a bit specific, viz, are you referring to Lombok, or Sumbawa?

I only mention this as there is a considerable amount of difference between those two islands...Lombok being more popular among expats.
