12 Month EP Validity

Post new topic

Hello friends

I am on EP in Singapore and currently in the process of changing jobs. My current EP validity is 3 years. My new employer had applied for EP and i have received the IPA. However the new EP has a validity of only 12 months. I am a little surprised and disappointed :( !.
Is this because the company that i am joining is a new company setting up in Singapore and i am the first hire ?
Appreciate your advise.

Thanks.

Under the current circumstances, be glad that you received an EP at all!
In any case, MoM decides and there is nothing you can do about it.

Hi, has anyone recently faced the same which only granted for 12 months? I did appreciate I get approval for EP, and also understood my qualifications maybe mismatch with current qualified salary. I just took a chance to seek the advice from who has the same experience. Thanks.
